A Report Regarding Anti Ragging Measure Taken in Sahara COllege of Nursing.

Sahara COllege of Nursing admits only female students and every measure is taken to provide the student a friendly and stress free environment specially to make this institution a "Ragging free Zone". In this context strict anti ragging measures have been implemented in our college, which are as follows.

1. At the time of admission itself an anti ragging undertaking in the form of affidavits duly attested bt the students and their parent/guardians is taken.

2. Various committes have been formed to combat the issue of ragging in the college like, disciplinary committee, Anti ragging squad , Anti ragging committed and Anti ragging cell.

3. In the beggining of the course itself Seminar regarding Ragging and Anti ragging measure was conducted.

4. Anti ragging slogans and posters were displayed in the college campus and hostel to create awareness among students.

5. The names and the mobiles numbers of the anti ragging committee members and squad , wardens of the Hostel etc. are displayed on the notice board.

6. Periodic training to the members of Anti ragging cell/committee/squad are given. And they are instructed to conduct regular and surprise checks all around the campus(including Hostel).

7. College website is updated from time to time as required.

8. CCTV cameras are installed in various sensitive areas of the hostel/college campus.

9. Complaints boxes are kept in different areas of hostel for the students to drop their grievences.

10. Indoor game facility like Carom board, Chess board and Table Tennis etc. are provided to the students so that they can utilize their time and energy in a constructive manner.

11. A mentoring cell is constructed, comprising of B.Sc. (N). IVth Year students who are acting mentors for the freshers. This measure has certainly helped us to make our institution a "Ragging Free Zone".
